Melissa Ndanshau Michael is a consultant at the firm, working across legal advisory and digital strategy. She is a Tanzanian lawyer holding a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Dar es Salaam, where she graduated with Honours. She also holds a master’s degree in Alternative Dispute Resolution, with training spanning dispute resolution across multiple legal fields. She advises on corporate and commercial law matters, including taxation, real estate, intellectual property, dispute resolution, and market entry advisory. Melissa has experience supporting businesses, creatives, and organizations with legal structuring, partnership arrangements, and regulatory compliance.

Melissa is also a Teaching Assistant at Dar es Salaam Tumaini University, where she both teaches and continues to deepen her academic and practical engagement with the law. This role complements her practice by strengthening her research, analytical, and mentoring skills.

In addition to her legal practice, Melissa brings strong expertise in digital strategy, content development, and client engagement. She previously worked with BBC Media Action Tanzania, where she honed her communication, presentation, and content development skills experience that now informs her client-facing work and the firm’s thought leadership and outreach initiatives.

She has undertaken additional training in Entrepreneurship and Digital Transformation at the Munich University of Applied Sciences and the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE), as well as training in Data Protection Law and emerging technologies through the Goethe University Digital Summer School. Her professional interests lie at the intersection of law, dispute resolution, business growth, and innovation.
